And we’re off…
There are just a couple of days now until our first outing of the season, which will be Isleham, down in the Fens – a long drive for us but the ground is usually good and it’s been a happy event for me in the past.
The last few weeks have been totally mad – I don’t feel like I have sat down since we did the Champions Tour in January. It was great to see so many of you come along to that, I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
I’ve been training hard for the last few weeks, so lots of early mornings – and then of course there was the launch of my new clothing range at BETA… everything will be available through Townend Online, and there may even be some discounts available to club members, so visit the site and sign up to the database when you have a minute.
I’ve recently got a new Advanced ride from Claire Phillips, who is a neighbour of mine. She has decided to hang up her boots and luckily Cap That has moved the short distance to Gadlas. I’m really looking forward to building a partnership there and seeing how we get on.
With everything ‘back to normal’ once the season starts I will hopefully be a bit more organised with my updates – I really don’t know where the last couple of months went!
