Oliver now has two more five-star horses in his yard. Sir John Peace’s Lukas finished in eighth place after a cross country clear inside the time – one of only nine horses to do so, another of the nine being the Chamberlaynes homebred Dreamliner, who placed 12th.
Both horses did good dressage tests, with plenty more to come in the future and, round a challenging and influential cross country course, for Oliver to jump two penalty free rounds on five-star first-timers was a huge achievement both for Oliver, the horses, and the teams around them.
