Colonel Joe made it three novice wins on the trot, with a dressage score completion at Lincolnshire. Oliver will now take him to the CCI* at Ballindenisk and move him up to Intermediate.
Cooley Master Class, ODT Ghareeb and Sandiman II were all runners up in their Open Intermediate sections, Oliver saying: “We weren’t meant to be at the races today but Cooley Master Class and ODT Ghareeb were inside the time and Sandiman just one second over. They all went as I hoped, I’m really happy with them.
“Colonel Joe was seriously impressive again, and Armada was relaxed for this time of year so I’m pleased with him too.” Armada also cruised round the cross country after a very good dressage test to finish 5th.
