En Taro des Vernier is the new British Intermediate Champion. Eighth after dressage and show jumping, one of the faster cross country round propelled him to the top of the leaderboard. Crazy du Loir had held the lead but Oliver toppled off the mare across country.
In the Novice Championship Melody Chillout picked up an unfortunate 20 penalties in the final phase, and Oliver withdrew Cooley Rosalent before cross country, after a lovely 23 dressage and clear showjumping, as was always the plan.
