Victoria co-owns horses with her parents but has also roped in her partner, Simon Hopper, to co-own Cruising By. She evented successfully herself but after losing a good horse to grass sickness she lost her competitive heart and stayed mostly in the hunting field.
Why eventing? I really loved doing it, and I still love the sport. It played a huge part in my life as a teenager. Watching Oliver ride the youngsters is far more nerve-wracking than being in the saddle, but I thoroughly enjoy being an owner.
Why Oliver? He works so hard, is straight talking and goes out to win. He’s also willing to speak out which I really admire. The horses always look amazing and I love the team and set up at Gadlas.
