Below are just a few of the horses sold by Oliver in recent years
Cooley SRS: produced by Oliver from BE100 to 4* (now 5*), finishing runner up at his first 4*, Badminton, in 2018. Sold to Terry Snow for Hazel Shannon (AUS) to compete.
ODT Sonas Rovatio: produced by Oliver from BE100 to 4* (now 5*) (6th at Rolex in 2011).
Land Vision: produced by Oliver in 2008 before being sold to New Zealand Bloodstock for Mark Todd to ride. Winner of the Blenheim 8/9yo CIC3* (now 4*) in 2010, and winner of Badminton 4* (now 5*) in 2011.
Major Milestone: produced up to Intermediate level by Oliver and then taken to 4* (now 5*) level by Mark Todd.
Iron Brew: taken by Oliver from Intermediate up to 3* (now 4*), sold to Cordelia Croft.
HHS Comporta Beach: from BE100 to a dressage score completion and 5th place in the 2012 6yo Championships in one season.
Daisy Crazy: ridden by Oliver in 2007, the pair winning the British Intermediate Championships.
ODT Master Rose: produced from BE100 up to 4* (now 5*), finishing 7th at Luhmuhlen in 2011. Oliver sold Master Rose to Ronald Zabala-Goetschel and the pair contested the 2012 Olympics under the Ecuadorian flag.
Oliver has been lucky to compete some remarkable horses during his career. Whilst no longer competing, they played a big part in Oliver’s success over the years. Below are some of them…
Armada: a horse like no other – Oliver once described Armada’s instruction handbook as being ‘written in chinese’. Career highlights include taking the runner up spot at Badminton 4* (now 5*), finishing 4th at Burghley 4* (now 5*) and winning the British Open Championships.
Fenyas Elegance: winner of Ballindenisk CIC3* (now 4*) and the horse who took Oliver to the 2015 European Championships.
Carousel Quest: Scottish Championship winner, in 2009 Quest and Oliver won Burghley 4* (now 5*), finishing 4th the following year.
Flint Curtis: the pair represented GB at the 2006 WEG and the 2007 Europeans, winning team gold. In 2009 they won Badminton 4* (now 5*).
Imperial Master: masses of ability, and capable of anything on his day. He gave Oliver a first, two seconds and a third at 3* (now 4*) level.
Neo de Breuil: a winner at Chatsworth and third at Bramham, a real favourite of Oliver’s.
Outside Chance: consistently in the ribbons at Advanced, he placed 8th at Blenheim 3* (now 4*).
Ashdale Cruise Master: a winner at 3* (now 4*), and 5th at Luhmuhlen 4* (now 5*), he was the horse most famous for Oliver’s crunching fall in Lexington when riding for the Grand Slam.
Topping: who took Oliver to his first 4* (now 5*), Badminton, and his first senior squad call up, the 2005 Europeans.
Cool Mule: the pony who took Oliver to HOYS and the Pony Europeans.
