Oliver TownendNext stop after Badminton was Aston-le-Walls, where all five of Oliver’s rides finished in the ribbons, three of them on their dressage scores.

Black Tie II kept a clean sheet to take the runner up spot in his open intermediate, on 22.3; Ballaghmor Class posted the same score for a 3rd place; Ulises picked up 4th on 23.9.

Note Worthy also did a good dressage, 24.3, and show jumped clear but Oliver took him steadily around the cross country – he has bigger fish to fry. He still finished in 9th place.

In an intermediate section Ececheira had her first rail down all season but whizzed around the cross country to bag a 5th place rosette.
