The Oliver Townend Eventers Challenge
A brand new eventers’ challenge was launched in 2007, proving an instant success with riders. So successful was the inaugural year that the event is being expanded for 2008.
Classes are categorised by both fence height and rider age, with competitors tackling a course of show jumps and cross country fences. Qualifiers from each venue go through to a final in December.
There will be more than 30 events this year, held over a three month period from mid-September to the end of November. Fence heights range from 2'3" to 3'3".
The overall winners receive a number of prizes including a training day with Oliver.
Oliver is very honoured to be associated with the Challenge Championships, believing it is well on the way to becoming one of the autumn's 'must do' competitions.
